The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has started to receive online applications under the PMAY 2.0 Online. All those citizens who have missed the chance to get registered under the previous phase can now PMAY 2.0 Apply online by visiting the Official Website and filling out the Application Form. Citizens don’t have to visit any Government Office or Department; instead this they can simply apply under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0 online from the comfort of their homes. Under this initiative, the Government aims to provide financial help along with Residential facilities to all the homeless and landless citizens.
About Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0
This PMAY 2.0 is an extended version of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0 Housing Initiative and was implemented by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) and will be implemented between September 1, 2024, to August 31, 2029. According to this initiative, the Government aims to provide financial help to all the landless and poor citizens so that they can start constructing their houses. This initiative will especially focus on providing housing solutions for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Low Income Groups (LIG), and Middle Income Groups (MIG).
Objective of PMAY 2.0 Apply Online 2025
The main objective behind this PMAY 2.0 Apply Online is to empower all landless citizens living in kaccha houses by providing them with a chance to access housing facilities. Under this initiative, the Government will provide financial help along with sustainable housing facilities to all the poor and homeless citizens across the nation. The units provided by the Government will have all the basic amenities such as Sanitation, Water, Electricity, etc. With the implementation of this scheme, the homeless citizens will be able to get a roof over their heads and lead a quality of life.

Eligibility Criteria
- Those Households without Shelter and pucca houses are eligible to apply.
- Only Permanent Citizens of India are eligible.
- Priority will be given to socially disadvantaged groups like the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes.
- Female-headed households without an Adult male are eligible to apply.
- Family Members of applicants suffering from disease, or single girl child families, and transgender individuals are eligible.
Ineligibility Criteria
- All those citizens who live outside India are not eligible.
- Citizens having pacca houses are not eligible.
- Family Members of citizens having Government Jobs are not eligible.
- Applicants’ family members who are paying taxes are not eligible.

PMAY 2.0 Apply Online 2025
- All those citizens who want to apply under the PMAY 2.0 have to visit the official Website.
- Now, on the homepage, you have to click on the Apply for PMAY 2.0 option.
- Now the Instruction page will open here. You have to read all the instructions and click on the Proceed button.
- After that, you have to click on the Eligibility Check option.
- Now citizens have to complete the Aadhar Authentication by providing details the same as Aadhar.
- After that, a new page will open here; you have to enter all the details asked, such as personal details, permanent address, bank account details, employment status, and land details.
- At Last, you have to review the details and click on the Submit button.

Option 1: You Have an Assessment ID
- You have click on the at pmaymis.gov.in
- Then you have click on the “Citizen Assessment” Option.
- Then, choose “Track Your Assessment Status”
- Click “By Assessment ID”
- Enter your ID and your mobile number
- Hit Submit.
Option 2: You Don’t Have the Assessment ID
- Firstly, visit the pmaymis.gov.in.
- Then, you have to click on the “Track Your Assessment Status”
- Click “By Name, Father’s Name & Mobile Number”
