About Odisha Antyodaya Gruha Yojana
The Honorable Chief Minister of Odisha State, Mr. Mohan Charan Majhi, has launched this flagship housing initiative called Odisha Antyodaya Gruha Yojana on March 30, 2025. Under this scheme, the Government aims to provide permanent Pucca houses to all the homeless citizens or those who were left out under the PMAY scheme. According to this scheme, the Government will provide financial help of INR 1.20 Lakhs to all the beneficiaries so that they can start the construction of their houses.
The First installment of INR 40,000 will be provided when the work order is given, and the second installment of INR 65,000 will be provided when the roof level construction starts, and an extra assistance of INR 10,000 will be provided when the construction is completed. This scheme aims to construct about 5 Lakh residential houses in a period of the next three years. The Government has allocated a total budget of INR 2,600 crores for the implementation of this scheme.
