The Government of Telangana State has recently updated the Indiramma housing scheme update by focusing on beneficiary verification, publication of lists, and disbursement of funds across the beneficiaries. About Indiramma Housing Scheme
The chief minister of Telangana State, Mr. Revanth Reddy, has launched this impactful housing initiative known as Indiramma Housing Scheme. Under this scheme, the Government aims to provide financial assistance of INR 5 Lakh to all citizens who have land but do not have the means to start constructing their homes. Along with that, the Government will provide low-cost and affordable housing units to all the homeless citizens across Telangana state.
The authorities will provide ready-to-move-in Residential Units with all the basic amenities, such as 24/7 electricity, Sanitation, water, and an RPF Rooftop, etc. Till now, about 1.74 Lakh applications have been approved by the and about 2,000 ineligible beneficiaries have been removed by the authorities.

As per the reports stated by the officials, in July 2025, the government of Telangana State has sanctioned about 3 Lakh houses for underprivileged citizens across the state, and about 1,950 applications have been rejected by the government under this scheme till now.
