This ADA Atal Residential Scheme was launched by the Agra Development Authority (ADA), which is also known as Atal Puram Township. According to this impactful housing initiative, the Authorities aim to provide very affordable housing units to a wide range of income groups, such as Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Lower Income Groups (LIG), and Middle Income Groups (MIG). This initiative is aimed at providing housing benefits to approximately 10,000 families across the Atalpuram region. This Initiative holds significance as it is the first ADA project in the last 36 Years. The authorities will provide ready-to-move residential units along with promoting infrastructure development of Urban areas in Agra. The Authorities have allocated a financial budget of INR 2242 Crores for the implementation of this scheme. The first phase under this initiative will cover about 45 Hectares of Land, dividing them into three sectors.
